Philadelphia County Dental Society Scholarship Fund Booth #236Visit the Scholarship booth to make your donation to the Scholarship Fund. Receive a thank-you gift for a donation of $25 or more. The Scholarship Fund was initiated by the Society’s Board of Governors in 1992 to help dental students at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania meet immediate financial needs. The majority of graduates leave dental school with overwhelming debt, and this is just one small way in which to encourage and assist them as they try to cope with studies, homes, families and jobs. The Scholarship Fund consists of voluntary contributions from the members and friends of the Philadelphia County Dental Society, as well as family and friends who have memorialized deceased members, and raffles held at the CE courses. Your participation in today’s auction will be most appreciated. This year’s recipients were: University of Pennsylvania students – Siv Eftekhari, Amanda Hom and Victoria Martin; and Temple University students – Trevor Griffitts, Aaron Parkin and Jennifer Ruch. Ballpark ToursYou have seen the beautiful field, the amazing scoreboard and the wonderful view of the city. The Ballpark Tours will take you to places you don’t usually get to visit – the Phillies’ and visitors’ dugouts, the bi-level bullpens, the batting cages, and more. Last year’s Tours were overbooked – reserve your spot NOW! Tours last approximately one-half hour and will depart from the Conference Registration Area at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 1:00 p.m. Each tour will accommodate a maximum of 20 people. |
