Do I earn CE for this event?

Yes, you will earn 2 CE Credits for this event through AGD Course Code: 149. CE Certificates will be e-mailed within 2 weeks of the event. If you are an AGD Member, make sure to have your number when you sign in the night of the course so that we can upload your credits directly on your behalf.

Course Objectives:

1.)  Determine important information to include with specialist referrals.
2.)  Identify best approaches to communicating with a specialist.
3.)  Discuss and solve challenges with referrals.
4.)  Compare different specialties.
5.)  Learn what to communicate with patients about a visit to the specialist.

Where is Parking?

You can park at Parkway Garage located at 12th and Filbert. Maggiano's will validate your parking and it will cost only $10.00.

Will I be able to ask the Specialists questions?

The Specialists will have 1-2 pre-made questions ready, however, then the specialists will break off into separate tables and the registrants will be divided and we will conduct a speed mentoring session which will allow for more intimate time with each specialist.

Is there a fee for this event?

Yes, there is a nominal fee associated with this event. ADA/PDA and PCDS Members will pay a registration fee of $25.00 and Non-Members will pay a registration fee of $50.00, while Students/Registrants will be charged a registration fee of $15.00.  This fee includes cocktail hour, drinks, dessert, a ticket for door prizes and a great course from 7 well respected dental specialists in a variety of fields. Not to mention, 2 CE Credits! 

I have a food allergy/dietary restriction...

No worries, there's a section on the Registration form that asks for your food allergy or dietary restriction. The restaurant will work with all of that.

What is the schedule for the event?

6:00 - 7:00 p.m.:     Cocktail Hour (food/drinks), networking

7:00 - 7:30 p.m.:     Introduction and 1-2 prepared questions for the specialists

7:30 - 8:54 p.m.:     Speed Mentoring with Specialists (12 min increments) with dessert in between

8:55 - 9:00 p.m.:     Closing Remarks
