ENDODONTICS: Dr. Louis Rossman

Dr. Louis Rossman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and a Fellow in the American College of Dentists.  A past president of the American Association of Endodontists, he is also a past president of the American Board of Endodontics and a past president of the Foundation for Endodontics of the American Association of Endodontists.  Dr. Rossman is Chairman Emeritus of the I.B. Bender Division of Endodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.  

Dr. Rossman is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Endodontics at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, serves on the Dean’s Council and recipient of the schools Alumni Award of Merit.  Presently he is a clinical attending at Albert Einstein Medical Center and provides, along with the Einstein residents, free endodontics for the underserved through Project HOME. Dr. Rossman also serves as Commissioner for Lower Merion Township.

In 2019 he was the recipient of the Edgar Coolidge Award from the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).  Recipients of this award—the AAE’s highest honor—are an elite group of individuals who serve as role models for the entire endodontic community.

Dr. Rossman has lectured extensively throughout the world and has published numerous articles and has written chapters in several endodontic, periodontic, microbiology and veterinary textbooks.  He retired, in  2021, from the full time clinical practice of Endodontics in center city Philadelphia. The practice started by his father, Samuel R. Rossman enjoyed a combined 105 years of endodontic services for the Philadelphia region.


ORAL MEDICINE: Dr. Roopali Kulkarni

Dr. Roopali Kulkarni is a board-certified oral medicine specialist. She is an Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and serves as the Assistant Director of the postgraduate oral medicine residency program. She pursued both her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and Master of Public Health degrees (M.P.H.) and graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. She completed her postgraduate residency training in Oral Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, serving as Chief Resident her second year. She currently teaches predoctoral and postdoctoral students clinically and didactically. She was the 2022 recipient of the Penn Dental Medicine Earle Bank Hoyt award for dedication and excellence in teaching. Her scholarly activity focuses on research within oral medicine and public health. She is an active researcher in the World Workshop on Oral Medicine and is a Senior Fellow at the Penn Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. In addition to her faculty responsibilities, she treats patients within the University of Pennsylvania Health System and is the Section Chief of Oral Medicine at the ChristianaCare Hospital System. Dr. Kulkarni has maintained active involvement in association work. She serves as a Co-Chair for the Bridging the Gaps Alumni Network and on the Penn Dental Medicine Alumni Society board. She also serves as a national media spokesperson for the American Dental Association, on the Pennsylvania Dental Association and Philadelphia County Dental Society board, and on multiple councils and committees in the American Dental Education Association and the American Academy of Oral Medicine. She is a 2024 recipient of the American Dental Association “10 Under 10” Award, which recognizes 10 new dentists who have significantly contributed to the dental profession. She travels across the country providing continuing education lectures on topics in oral medicine, public health, and leadership development. Her passions lie in community service, wellness, advocacy, dance, and music!

 


ORAL SURGERY: Dr. Thomas Nordone

Dr. Thomas Nordone is a native of the Philadelphia area and a graduate of Villanova University (undergraduate), Temple University School of Dentistry (graduate), and the University of Pennsylvania (surgery).

Dr. Nordone has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery in Philadelphia for more than 30 years. He served as oral and maxillofacial surgeon to the Philadelphia Flyers from 1983 to 1988. 

Dr. Nordone has been involved in education since 1983. He has taught oral and maxillofacial surgery residents at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Hospital, and at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann Hospital until its closure. He currently covers the level-one trauma center at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and actively operates and teaches at St. Christophers.

Dr. Nordone has been involved with organized dentistry and organized Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the local, state, and national levels. He served as the president of the Philadelphia County Dental Society, president of the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and multiple board positions for the ADA, PDA, PCDS, PSOMS and DVSOMS. He has maintained his practice in full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including dentoalveolar surgery, trauma, orthognathic surgery, pathology, craniofacial surgery and implantology. He currently serves as the Eastern Regional Director for the Anesthesia Evaluation Committee for the state of Pennsylvania

Among his many hobbies, Dr. Nordone is an avid cyclist. He has ridden his bicycle to the New Jersey shore to raise money for the American Cancer Society and the MS Society. He has ridden his bicycle in Alaska, Amsterdam, Australia, Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Spain and Portugal. He has also ridden in California, Upstate New York, New York City for the 5 borrough ride, New Mexico, Texas, and much of Pennsylvania. He was the Master of Ceremonies and organizer for the Bicycle Grand Fondo benefiting Main Line Animal Rescue.

 


PEDODONTICS: Dr. Paul Bahn

Dr. Paul Bahn is a Pediatric Dentist with Pediatric Dental Associates and he treats patients at their Allegheny Avenue location. Dr. Bahn is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the American Board of Laser Surgery which sets him apart from other pediatric dentists. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry with his DMD and received his Pediatric Dental Certificate from Temple University Hospital Episcopal Division. He is the current Program Director with Temple University Hospital's Pediatric Dental Residency Program. His favorite services he provides to his pediatric patients are related to conscious sedation, laser frenectomies and MIH (Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization) restorative cases.

When Dr. Bahn is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife, their four children and two dogs!

 


ORTHODONTICS: Dr. Kevin Klatte

Dr. Klatte is a life-long learner and is passionate about the field of orthodontics. He earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated first in his class. Dr. Klatte then completed his residency and received his Certificate in Orthodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Klatte frequently attends continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the latest orthodontic techniques and technology so he can provide optimal treatment for his patients. Dr. Klatte is a frequent lecturer, sharing his knowledge with other in the dental field. Outside of the office, Dr. Klatte loves spending time with his wife and their three energetic daughters. He also enjoys skiing, photography and traveling.


PERIODONTICS: Dr. Jay Laudenbach

Dr. Laudenbach has lived in the greater Philadelphia area almost all of his life. He grew up with a background in science and a passion for art and sculpture. He received his DMD in 2002 from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2006, Dr. Jay completed a 4 year residency program in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis, also at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. The program at Penn emphasizes periodontal and dental implant therapy as a foundation for rehabilitating the mouth, and improving patient's smiles. He has extensive training in the utilization of all of the leading implant systems available on the market today. Dr. Laudenbach is also a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Laudenbach held a faculty appointment at the University of Pennsylvania as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics, Periodontal Prosthesis, and Implant Dentistry instructing graduate periodontal residents in providing the latest periodontal and dental implant therapies. He continues to lecture at Penn for the graduate and undergraduate dental program on the topic of dental implants. He has been involved in multiple dental implant clinical research studies evaluating immediate loading protocols of dental implants. He continues to work closely with dental implant companies to develop new technological advances to improve treatment options and outcomes. 


PROSTHODONTICS: Dr. Eva Anadioti, DMD, MS, FACP

Dr. Eva Anadioti is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist as well as the Co-Founder and Clinical Managing Partner of Wellnox Studio. Dr. Anadioti is a leader in Digital Dentistry with grants and published research in peer-reviewed journals. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Prosthodontic Commissioner on the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation. Dr. Anadioti is a national and international figure and the recipient of multiple awards both locally and nationally. Dr. Anadioti loves to create beautiful smiles. She specializes in esthetic, functional, and full-mouth rehabilitation using porcelain crowns, bridges, fixed dental prostheses and veneers. She is also an expert in surgical placement and restoration of dental implants such as implant-supported crowns, fixed and/or removable prostheses as well as conventional complete and partial dentures.
