INFORMATION ABOUT APPLICATION
The Philadelphia County Dental Society, a component Society of the American Dental Association, will award scholarship grants to dental students at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University. The scholarship program is intended to help students meet immediate financial needs and is funded primarily by contributions from members and friends of the Philadelphia County Dental Society.
Criteria for selection will include financial need, academic achievement, and membership in the American Student Dental Association (ASDA).
Awards are available to students at Philadelphia's two dental schools, and checks will be payable to the recipient and his/her school. Previous recipients are not eligible to re-apply.
If you wish to apply, you MUST complete the application below and upload:
(1) confirmation of current ASDA membership [e.g., a copy of your 2019 membership card or a letter or FAX from ASDA in Chicago];
(2) a current OFFICIAL transcript from your dental school
(3) a letter of recommendation from your dean or a faculty member who is a current member of the American Dental Association (ADA), along with a copy of his/her 2019 membership card or a confirming letter or FAX from ADA.
